Privacy policy

Not yet drafted

The formal policy has not been written. The plain-language summary below describes how the product actually behaves today and will be superseded by the reviewed document.

What you control

You decide what goes in your profile, which employers are blocked from discovering you, whether you are discoverable at all, and whether to accept, decline, or ignore any approach. Your identity is disclosed only when you accept a Tap and confirm it yourself.

What the platform does

Employers see generalized information: role family, skills, experience band, compensation compatibility, broad location, work mode, and availability. They never see your name, photo, employer, exact dates, exact pay, address, or contact details. They cannot save, annotate, label, rate, or export individual people, and there is no record of who has declined whom. Blocks are applied before a search runs, so a blocked employer receives no result and no indication that anything was filtered.

What we cannot promise

These are layered controls designed to reduce the risk that a current employer discovers you are open to opportunities. They are not a guarantee. A sufficiently detailed profile can be recognisable to someone who knows your work well, and we cannot control what people do with information once you have chosen to disclose it. You decide how much detail to include, and less detail means less risk.

Raising a concern

If you believe someone has misused ConectR or that your privacy has been compromised, tell us and we will investigate. During the private beta, contact the person who invited you.
